PSYSIMS · LEGAL & POLICIES

Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated September 7, 2026

This policy explains how PsySims treats platform content, teacher-submitted material, third-party resources, and intellectual-property complaints.

PsySims materials

PsySims branding, original site design, original lessons, original activity content, and other platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless a different license or source is clearly stated. Access to PsySims does not transfer ownership of those materials.

Teacher and user-submitted material

You are responsible for material you upload, paste, link, or otherwise submit through PsySims and must have the rights or permission needed to use it. You retain ownership of material you own. By submitting it, you instruct PsySims to store, process, display, and deliver it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service and the classroom workflows you choose.

Third-party resources

Some lessons or activities may reference third-party websites, media, documents, or other resources. Those materials remain subject to the rights, licenses, and terms of their respective owners. A link or reference does not mean PsySims claims ownership of third-party content.

Prohibited infringement

Do not upload or distribute material through PsySims when you know or reasonably should know that you lack the rights needed to use it. Repeated or serious infringement may result in removal of material or restriction of the responsible account.

Copyright and rights complaints

If you believe material available through PsySims infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact PsySims through the Contact page and identify the work or right involved, the location of the disputed material, your contact information, and the reason you believe the use is unauthorized.

Review and response

PsySims may review a rights complaint, request additional information, temporarily restrict access to disputed material, remove material where appropriate, and contact the account holder who supplied it. PsySims may also restore material when a complaint is resolved or shown to be mistaken, subject to applicable law.
